I'm interested in make-up (not in the way that i want to do it for a profession) but when i'm bored i like to experiment and stuff, I would like to know a few things: - Do you use different make-up for your work and for your actual every day make up? - What DO you wear for your every day make-up? - How do you get such a matte flawless look (or is that just clever editing?) - What foundation and mascara do you use? - What is your best make-up tip? sorry for all the questions haha, but if you answered them i'd appreciate it :) x

-I don’t. My work makeup IS my every day makeup.
-I’ll wear foundation, concealer, powder, eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner end lipstick/gloss every day. I realise that sounds very overdone, but the only part of my makeup that looks obviously unnatural is my eye makeup. I don’t really have a set ‘every day makeup’ look. If you go through my pictures then you’ll see how varied my makeup is.
-I get this question a lot. I never edit my skin on the computer. I set my camera on the food setting which kind of smooths everything over. Click. Like in that picture, everything is sort of blurred out. My foundation is full coverage so that evens out my skin tone. And I always try to use natural lighting and avoid the flash on the camera. The flash is not kind to my face, haha.
-I use Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. (I just this second ordered my 4th bottle, I love it.) My mascara is Bourjois Volume Clubbing Ultra Black. It’s a very thick, clumpy formula and if you don’t like those types of mascaras then I wouldn’t recommend it, I know lots of people find it difficult to use.
-Always spend time on applying your foundation correctly. If there is one thing I notice when I look a someone’s makeup it is whether or not they have rushed their foundation. The trick to good foundation is to make it look like you’re not wearing any. As long as you spend 5 minutes or so making sure your foundation is smooth, streak-free and in every line/crease in your face, then I feel that you can throw on any old eyeshadow or mascara and you will still look fine.

I hope my answers are coherent. I’m so tired, haha. Thank you for your questions. :]

I know this is personal so feel free not to answer it, i was just wondering what happened with you and your (ex-)boyfriend? I'm a huge fan of your work and your blog by the way :)

We just grew apart really! We turned into very different people and didn’t share any common interests anymore.
And thank you very much! :]
